Biological Station in the Reserve<\/h2>\n
Hidroel\u00e9ctrica Renace enables, within the Private Reserve, the “Biological Station” project to contribute to the proper development of environmental management activities, conservation, protection and monitoring of natural resources.\u00a0 An infrastructure available for professionals and students linked to research and management in biological disciplines, as well as the promotion of environmental education to the population of the educational establishments neighboring Hidroel\u00e9ctrica Renace, among others.<\/p>\n

The Biological Station is an infrastructure of 150 m2 of construction, it is integrated by:<\/p>\n

- dormitory<\/li>\n
- dining room\/meeting room<\/li>\n
- kitchenette<\/li>\n
- slab for water storage tank<\/li>\n

- ordinary wastewater treatment system<\/li>\n
- Monitoring and scientific research center<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Marco Medina, Environmental Manager, reported: “the Biological Station project was created with the objective of constituting a center for monitoring and implementing scientific research for the conservation of ecosystems, thus contributing to the protection and care of the area’s natural resources<\/a>, to sustainable development with an impact on people, families and communities, as stated in Hidroel\u00e9ctrica Renace’s Environmental Strategy”.<\/p>\n
This project will promote a culture of scientific promotion, in particular conditions and technical characteristics, applied both in the design of the infrastructure and in the equipment with the necessary resources of the environments that comprise it.<\/p>\n
